Welcome to Student Health Services

Rice Student Health Services provides preventive and outpatient clinical care for the students of Rice University.

Student Health is located on-campus and is dedicated to meeting undergraduate and graduate students' unique needs, emphasizing prevention. We see all students regardless of their insurance. Appointments are included in student fees. Additional labs, vaccines, etc., charges may be paid via credit card. Students are seen in person at student health.

Call 6000 on campus for 24/7 student EMS. Call 911 if off campus.

SUMMER HOURS

We are open for clinic visits Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday during the summer. We reopen for regular hours during O Week.

NEW ONLINE BOOKING

Our new electronic medical record offers online appointment booking. You can log on via SSO to https://studenthealth.rice.edu to schedule appointments. If you need a same day sick appointment, please call us.

CLINIC CLOSURES

Closed Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Winter Break.

In the event Rice University is closed due to weather conditions, etc, Rice Student Health will be closed. For emergencies on campus, dial 713-348-6000 and off campus dial 911.

FLU VACCINES 25-26

Rice Student health will once again partner with Randalls pharmacy to give flu vaccines on campus at the student center.

Vaccine days are September 24, September 26, October 2 and October 9. Students may use their insurances (Rice insurance or private) for the vaccines. Online booking will be posted in August.

Morton L. Rich Health and Wellness Center Map - We are located in the Morton L. Rich Student Health and Wellness Center located next to the Brown Magister's House off Entrance 27b. The building is indicated as building #30 on the printable campus map. Student parking is available at Entrance 27.

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

closed for lunch 12:00-12:30 daily.

Summer:
Monday - Wednesday
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
*during the summer, the receptionist is available Monday through Friday for phone calls.
